Ronald McDonald House of Ottawa is a "Home-Away-From-Home" for families of children with serious illnessess being treated at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Treatment of a sick child may take weeks, months or years and is very stressful for the child, the parents and the rest of the family, especially when they are miles from home.
Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable and affordable place for the family to stay that is close to the hospitalized child and also provides support and comfort during a time of great stress.
